The Demo Version is a fully functional although severely limited version, of Energy TechPro-RES. The directory structure is preserved, but most of the content has been deleted. This allows you to see the topics covered and gain an understanding of the "look and feel" of TechPro, without the benefit of its full content. All PDFs and other externally linked files have been deleted from the Demo.
To easily identify pages that have content, look for Yellow Highlighted links on Index Pages.
Find your way around TechPro's resources by selecting (left mouse click) "Books" (Folders) and "Pages" (Topics) within the Navigation Panel to the left.
There are three sections designed to provide short answers to common questions. Call Center is a Q&A format, Quick Facts and Energy Management Quick Tips are in topical format. The other sections provide an in depth look at Residential Energy Use and Equipment.

Quick Facts contains bullet-point information for short answers for most common questions on the Bullet's Topic with links to the other sections for more details.
Quick Tips on the most common Energy Management (conservation) related Topics with links to the other sections for more details.

TechPro-RES has been designed for those who need to have a thorough understanding of residential and small commercial energy usage. Major emphasis are on:

If you know how to use a Window's based Help system, you already know how to use TechPro-RES. Simply click on a Topic in the left navigation panel to get started. Depending on how your Browser is configured, Topic Sections can be opened with a single or double left-mouse-click. Most individual topics and hyperlinks are opened with a single-click.
Index
To use the Index, select the Index Tab from the Navigation Panel and make a selection from the list of key words shown.
Search
To search for a Topic using your own key word, select the Search Tab from the Navigation Panel and type in the key word or phrase. Matches will be shown in the Navigation Panel. Click on a match to display the page in the main program window.
Text in Green indicates an example or information on operating costs.
Text in dusty-red indicates information applicable mostly to southern climates and/or the cooling season.
